Our commitment

Just Walking Ventures, LLC, doing business as Signup Crew, wants organizers, Volunteers, RSVP participants, and other users to be able to use Signup Crew effectively. We are committed to improving the accessibility and usability of the Service as it develops.

Accessibility target

Signup Crew's accessibility target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.

This target applies across the Signup Crew experience. It includes public, unauthenticated Volunteer and RSVP Event and signup experiences, as well as authenticated organizer, organization-administration, and related application experiences. Public participant experiences are part of the target even when a Volunteer or RSVP participant does not need an account.

WCAG is a set of accessibility guidelines used here as a conformance target; it is not a certification. A Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) is a documentation artifact used to report accessibility information, not a certification by itself. Section 508, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other accessibility laws may create legal or compliance obligations depending on the circumstances.

Signup Crew does not currently claim that every public or authenticated page or workflow completely conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Signup Crew has not completed a VPAT and does not claim Section 508, ADA, or other legal accessibility compliance that has not been established.

Practices in the current Service

Accessibility practices currently used in Signup Crew include:

  • semantic page structure and native controls where practical;
  • labels and instructions for application forms;
  • keyboard-operable navigation and controls;
  • visible keyboard focus treatment;
  • focus management and focus return for dialogs and menus where implemented;
  • status and error announcements for asynchronous interactions where implemented;
  • accessible names, states, and relationships for interactive controls; and
  • responsive layouts intended to work across common screen sizes.

Signup Crew uses focused automated tests for some keyboard, focus, form, and interaction behavior. These tests do not replace a complete accessibility audit or testing with every browser, assistive technology, and user configuration.

Ongoing improvement

We continue to review and improve Signup Crew as features and content change. Accessibility work may include design and code review, automated checks, keyboard testing, assistive-technology testing, and responding to user feedback.

Some third-party services or hosted interfaces used with Signup Crew are operated by their respective providers. For example, commercial customers may use Stripe-hosted Checkout and billing interfaces, which are operated by Stripe and have their own accessibility implementation. Signup Crew does not make a claim about Stripe's independent accessibility conformance. We welcome reports about barriers in that paid-conversion experience and other connected experiences so support can help identify the appropriate path.

Assistance and feedback

If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need assistance using Signup Crew, email support@signupcrew.com. Using a subject such as Accessibility assistance can help us recognize the request.

It is helpful to include:

  • the page or workflow involved;
  • what you were trying to do;
  • the browser, device, or assistive technology used, if relevant; and
  • the type of assistance or alternative you need.

When a barrier is reported, Signup Crew will work with the person to identify a reasonable alternative way to access the relevant information or complete the task where feasible.

Please do not include passwords or payment-card information. Signup Crew does not promise a specific response-time SLA, but the mailbox is monitored for accessibility assistance and other support requests.

Changes to this statement

We may update this statement as Signup Crew's accessibility work and the Service evolve. Material changes will receive notice appropriate to the nature of the change and applicable law. The published effective date and version will identify the statement then in force.
