Every Organization must always retain an active Organization Owner. The final Owner cannot simply be removed or deactivated before ownership is transferred.
Ownership transfer is currently Support-assisted rather than a self-service Workspace action.
- Email
support@signupcrew.comfrom your Signup Crew account address. - Include the Organization name, your account email, the proposed new Owner’s email, and a short reason for the transfer.
- Make sure the proposed new Owner already has active access to the Organization. Event-only access is not sufficient.
- Wait for Support to verify the request and the proposed Owner’s eligibility.
After the audited transfer, the selected person becomes the sole active Organization Owner. Previous Owners become Organization Administrators, with broad day-to-day Organization access but without Owner-only billing or ownership authority. Organization data, Events, registrations, attendance, communications, and history remain intact.
Do not send passwords, sign-in links, or other account secrets with the request.
