Organization Owner
Organization Owner has Organization-wide access, including Organization Settings, Events, Volunteers, Event team management, billing, and ownership. Every Organization has an Owner.
Organization Administrator
Organization Administrator is an optional role for a trusted person who needs to help manage the entire Organization. It is available with Pro. The Owner sends an invitation, and access starts only when the invited person verifies the exact invited email, creates a Signup Crew password, and accepts the invitation. Signup Crew then sends the person to the normal sign-in screen. An Administrator can manage normal Organization settings, Events, Volunteers, communications, and day-to-day operations. An Administrator does not replace the Owner and cannot manage Owner-only billing, transfer ownership, reactivate the Organization after access ends, or permanently delete the Organization. Inviting an existing Volunteer reuses their Signup Crew identity and preserves their Volunteer history; it does not create another Volunteer record.
Event Manager
Event Manager can manage and operate an assigned Event, including its details, roster, check-in, reports, and communications. Organization settings and Event lifecycle controls remain restricted.
Event Staff
Event Staff can help operate an assigned Event with a privacy-minimized roster, check-in, and appropriate reports. Event Staff cannot edit the Event, send participant communications, manage access, or see every Organization Event.
Event-specific access
Event Manager and Event Staff access applies only to the assigned Event. An Event assignment never creates Organization-wide authority. New Event Manager and Event Staff grants use the same verified invitation and password onboarding as Organization Administrator grants, even when an Auth account already exists.
Ownership safeguard
Every Organization must retain an active Organization Owner. Ownership transfer is Support-assisted; see Transfer Organization Ownership before changing the final Owner’s access.
