Choose Volunteer Event when people need to select a dated shift with its own capacity. Volunteer Events use days, time blocks, shifts, assignments, and a Volunteer roster.
Choose an RSVP Event
Choose RSVP Event when people are attending one Event time. RSVP Events can allow guests, use an overall people capacity, close when full, or use a waiting list. They use parties, attendees, and RSVP check-in.
Why the Event type matters
The Event type controls the public form and organizer tools. Create the type that matches participation; do not use RSVP instructions for a Volunteer Event or Volunteer shift instructions for an RSVP Event.
