Choose Create Event, select the Event type, and enter the required details. New Events are private drafts. Both types support an Event name, optional description and location, and optional Event hero image.
Volunteer Event creation builds dated schedules and generated shifts. RSVP Event creation sets one start/end time, registration window, capacity, guest policy, optional waiting list, and up to three custom questions. It can also send one automatic reminder approximately 24 hours before the Event to each confirmed registration’s primary attendee. Guests are included in that party’s message; waitlisted or cancelled registrations do not receive the reminder.
Open the Event and choose Edit Event to change supported settings. Signup Crew may prevent a change that would invalidate existing registrations, attendance, sent reminders, or historical answers. Review the message instead of attempting to work around that safeguard.
