Complimentary and internal organization access

After complimentary access expires, data is retained for 60 days total, including the first 14 read-only days.

Complimentary access is time-limited. After it expires, the Organization enters a 14-day read-only period. Its operational data is retained for a total of 60 days from the expiration date, including those first 14 days. After day 14, access is blocked. On day 60, the data is deleted if access has not been renewed or otherwise restored, unless a valid retention extension applies.

Complimentary access is a limited internal authorization granted by a Signup Crew super admin. It is not a self-service plan and cannot be permanent. A grant may last 30 days, 90 days, 6 months, 1 year, or another approved period ending no more than 12 months after the grant. Long-term internal organizations are normally reviewed and renewed annually.

While the authorization is valid, the Organization has normal access for its approved Basic, Crew, or Pro plan. It does not need a Stripe subscription for that complimentary access.

In Organization Settings → Plan & Billing, the Organization Owner sees Access source: Complimentary, the actual granted plan, and the expiration date. The Owner may choose Switch to a paid plan, select a plan and billing frequency, and continue to paid Checkout. Successful payment starts the paid subscription immediately; Stripe then becomes the authority for that access. Current or previous complimentary access counts as the Organization's free-use opportunity, so paid conversion does not include an additional 14-day trial.

Public Event and Organization pages become unavailable when access expires. During the first 14 days, users may view existing internal data but cannot make operational changes. After day 14, access is blocked while the data remains retained until the deletion deadline. The 60-day total is measured from the original expiration date, not from the end of the read-only period.

During retention, a Signup Crew super admin may approve and record a new complimentary authorization, or the Organization Owner may convert to a normal paid subscription. Restored data becomes available again, but previously public Events remain private until an organizer reviews and explicitly republishes them.

Organization Owners may contact support@signupcrew.com with questions about an existing complimentary authorization. Signup Crew reviews each request; complimentary access is not generally available as a customer-selected plan.
