A promotional link gives a new, normal Signup Crew Organization a specified Basic, Crew, or Pro plan for a limited period. Create or sign in to a personal account, confirm your email, and create the Organization through the link. An offer restricted to one email must be redeemed with that confirmed email. Promotional access does not require a card or payment method. It is separate from the normal card-required 14-day Stripe trial.
The Organization, Events, registrations, Volunteers, settings, and history stay with the same account and Organization ID when promotional access ends, is extended, or becomes paid. The Billing page shows the promotional plan and expiration date. Starting seven days before expiration, Continue with a paid plan lets the Owner review Basic, Crew, or Pro and Monthly or Annual billing. Checkout remains unavailable until promotional access ends, so reviewing a plan does not start paid billing or collect a payment method.
At expiration, the existing Organization lifecycle applies. The first 14 days are read-only; access is then blocked while data remains retained through day 60 from expiration, unless a valid retention extension applies. An Organization Owner can open Organization Settings → Plan & Billing → Open Billing during the read-only period, or use Reactivate Signup Crew if access is blocked. Select Continue with a paid plan, choose a normal paid Basic, Crew, or Pro plan and Monthly or Annual billing, then select Continue to Stripe Checkout. Checkout collects a payment method and starts paid billing when it completes, without another 14-day trial. The paid subscription restores access to the same Organization and retained data. Previously public Events remain private until an organizer reviews and republishes them.
A Signup Crew super admin may approve a finite complimentary extension for an Organization. This keeps the same Organization and its data and retains the original campaign attribution. Contact support@signupcrew.com to ask about an extension; it is not a self-service option.
